We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at THE MEXICAN WAY INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including main courses, desserts, and snacks, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and organization.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
