We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at THE MEXICAN WAY INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Chef Supervision: Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality control in our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage our kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers receive a warm and welcoming experience in our restaurant.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our kitchen staff.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
