We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering clinical education materials, providing expertise and clinical insights on our devices, procedures, and protocols throughout the life cycle of clinical investigations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver clinical education materials, including training programs, manuals, and guides.
- Provide expertise and clinical insights on our devices, procedures, and protocols to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical investigations and studies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, proctors, and other external partners.
- Provide training and guidance to new Field Clinical Specialists.
- Plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts in partnership with Sales and Sales Management.
- Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cardiovascular science, anatomy, and physiology.
- Monitor clinical support activities, changes in the market, and assigned accounts, as well as competitive activity with the NSM and the appropriate Sales Specialist.
- 5 years of experience in a related medical device and/or clinical environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Training experience in a clinical or technical environment.
- Ability to travel 60% of the time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects.
