Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Davinderjit Singh Nijjar. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering bedside and personal care, including bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Supporting clients with their immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and storage
  • Facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and reliable
