Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Better Living Home Care Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Home Support Worker will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Collect specimens and perform other medical-related tasks
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

Security and Safety:

The Home Support Worker will be required to undergo a criminal record check and maintain confidentiality of client information.
