Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Better Living Home Care Services Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Administer medications and provide first aid as needed.
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., nursing, social work, or gerontology).
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
