Job Summary

Better Living Home Care Services Inc. is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will be providing care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Medical Support: Assist clients with administering medications and collecting specimens.
  • Errands: Accompany clients on errands and assist with grocery shopping and other tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work setting is in urban areas, and the role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
