Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Better Living Home Care Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Home Support Worker will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications
  • Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
  • Collect specimens
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
