Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Driver Trainer to join our team at J. J. Keller. As a Contract Driver Trainer, you will provide driver training services on an as-needed basis to driver-trainees employed by our clients and their partners. Your training will include classroom instruction, range training, road training, and a road test to ensure drivers are equipped to operate commercial motor vehicles safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct classroom training on provincial rules and regulations, safe vehicle operation, and other topics related to the safe and effective operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Administer road tests to evaluate a driver's ability to manage a vehicle in various environments and determine pass/fail.
  • Provide feedback on training effectiveness and opportunities for improvement to training development staff.
  • Enforce and support all company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of commercial driver training experience desired.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid license for the type(s) of vehicles used in training.
  • Ability to travel, including reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
  • Bilingual in English/French preferred but not required.
