About the Job

As a Pharmacy Manager at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, customer service, and medication dispensing. You will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy staff
  • Manage the financial and operational success of the department
  • Ensure compliance with OCP and company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail pharmacy environment
  • Injection Certification, CPR certification
  • Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong people management skills and ability to motivate and coach others
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong sense of professionalism
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word) as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system
