Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Alltech Consulting SVC Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work with our software development team, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the software development team by gathering requirements, writing user stories, defining goals, documenting requirements, and analyzing business functions to become familiar with the business domain.
  2. Identify business workflows and determine stakeholder needs through effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans to ensure project success.
  4. Contribute to Agile practices adopted by the development team, ensuring seamless delivery and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Requirements:

  1. A university degree in either Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.
  3. 3 years of demonstrated full-time experience in health information systems and/or healthcare operations.
  4. The ability to start work on or about the specified date.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Clinical Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation in areas such as computerized provider order entry (CPOE), order sets, clinical documentation, ancillary services (Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Laboratory).
  2. Demonstrated experience in leading workshops to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories or use cases.
  3. Strong self-direction, interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
  4. The ability to multi-task and work with multiple teams supporting more than one project stream/activity at a time.
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) in the work environment.
  6. Verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both French and English is strongly preferred.
  7. Previous experience working within public health authorities, showcasing a strong understanding of the public healthcare landscape, policies, and practices.
