Job Summary
Graymont Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our team at our Havelock, NB facility. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the entire production process, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop an effective engaged workforce.
- Communicate across functional lines to ensure best solutions and engineering practices.
- Participate in process improvements and implementations.
- Coordinate and supervise work provided by contractors and vendors.
- Perform on-call duties and participate in day-to-day plant environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Relevant college degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining a safe work culture.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
- Passion for implementing process improvements.
