Lead a team of mechanical and electrical technicians to plan and manage the daily maintenance repair and PM of all plant machinery and general building facilities for a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

**Responsibilities / Expectations**:

- Manage site maintenance program including predictive, preventative and emergency work procedures and protocols.
- Plan and organize minor upgrades, additions, and modifications to the entire operations effort to improve safety, production and efficiency
- Interface with outside contractors on material, design, and installation of equipment and related items for improvement or repair of facilities
- Interface with vendors and the procurement entity to facilitate parts and materials in a timely and cost saving manner to maintain efficient production.
- Perform hands on maintenance to include an extra set of hands to trouble shoot, repair or to assist the workers as needed to expedite projects or repairs.
- Mentor and motivate associates, providing training and development to optimize performance and personal growth in a team-based culture.
- Ensure that downtime due to equipment problems is below agreed standards for all unit operations in particular those units that are production bottlenecks.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing trades people in a maintenance environment
- Computer skills, knowledge of OSHA and TSSA Codes and Standards.
- Experience and knowledge in the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance Philosophy and Predictive Maintenance Programs a plus.
- Portion of job will be on the floor working with or supervising technicians, which will involve climbing, reaching, pulling, stooping, bending, squatting, carrying, etc.
