Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at Holiday Inn Edmonton. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out

Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures in a timely and efficient manner.

Room Reservations and Management

Take, cancel, and change room reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.

Guest Information and Services

Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.

Departure Processing and Payment

Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.

Communication and Customer Service

Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues alike.

Special Needs and Assistance

Assist guests with special needs, providing support and accommodations as required.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.

Language and Communication

Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Availability and Work Schedule

Availability to work 30-40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the hotel.
