Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1919464 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and on time.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that our staff are equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in all aspects of our food service operations.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and are satisfied with their experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and informing our business decisions.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality and meet our customers' expectations.
  • Tray Assembly: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are prepared to our high standards and meet our customers' needs.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, requiring the ability to move around the kitchen and restaurant areas.
