">">About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that support organizational growth, employee skill enhancement, and strategic talent development.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments across the organization to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.">
- Design and develop engaging training content, including instructor-led workshops, e-learning modules, and blended learning programs.">
- Create and maintain a robust learning management system (Dayforce) to track and manage employee training progress.">
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors for learning & development opportunities for individual employees and teams.">
- Collaborate with department heads to align training initiatives with organizational goals and strategic objectives.">
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance metrics, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.">
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training, or instructional design, preferably in a manufacturing / construction setting.">
- Strong instructional design skills with experience in creating various learning content formats.">
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure training effectiveness.">
- Creative problem-solving.">
- Project management.">
- Ability to work in an office environment.">
- Occasional travel may be required for on-site training and workshops to the Niagara region and the US.">
- Comfortable working with computer systems for extended periods.">
