Job Title: Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor to join our team at Simply Sofaworks & More Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless production.
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Set up and maintain sewing machines and equipment.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of sewing machine operators.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
