BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) is a leading pediatric healthcare provider in British Columbia, Canada. As a Pediatric Allergist in the Division of Allergy, Department of Pediatrics, you will be part of a team that cares for the province's most acutely ill or injured children and youth. The Division sees children with complex allergic conditions and provides an outstanding environment for clinical research and teaching. As a clinical faculty member, you will be expected to provide leadership in clinical care, be active in the education programs of the department, and support and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement. The successful candidate will have a fellowship in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and subspecialty training and be eligible for certification in Clinical Immunology & Allergy (FRCPC) or equivalent. The position is a regular full-time opportunity with the University of British Columbia and BC Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in clinical care and be active in the education programs of the department
  • Support and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement
  • See children with complex conditions via consultation in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Lead and/or participate in research and quality improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Subspecialty training and eligibility for certification in Clinical Immunology & Allergy (FRCPC) or equivalent
  • Eligibility to obtain a specialist's license to practice in British Columbia
