The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director, Information Technology will be a member of the AFG senior leadership team and will be accountable for overseeing the use of Information Technology in the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's IT strategy, ensuring that all systems support the operations and objectives of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations, as well as excellent interpersonal and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the company's IT strategy
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (network and computer systems) in the organization
  • Develop and administer best practices for master data management
  • Lead and direct IT-related projects
  • Analyze the cost, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and recommend actions
  • Lead and develop IT personnel to ensure the needs of the business are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years progressively senior experience in IT leadership
  • Experience in designing/developing IT systems and implementation
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
