The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director, Information Technology will be a member of the AFG senior leadership team, overseeing the use of Information Technology in our company. This role will be responsible for the company's IT strategy, ensuring that all systems support operations and objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technology vision and leadership for the IT Department
  • Developing strategic plans that utilize information technology and align with business goals
  • Assessing IT services and skills regarding outsourcing versus in-house delivery
  • Planning the implementation of new and existing systems
  • Approving purchases of technological equipment and software
  • Overseeing the technological infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Developing and administering best practices for master data management
  • Leading and directing IT-related projects
  • Analyzing the cost, value, and risks of information technology to advise management

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, and 10+ years of progressively senior experience in IT Leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing/developing IT systems and implementation, a solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations, and strong interpersonal and project management skills.
