Job Title: Airport Commercial Services Manager

At Vancouver Airport Authority, we are seeking a highly skilled Airport Commercial Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Passenger Commercial team, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of commercial capital programs at the airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver commercial projects through the project lifecycle, collaborating with working groups and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their vision and provide support in bringing it to life, including design, coordination, and construction support.
  • Define and develop scope, deliverables, work plan, budget, and timing for new commercial initiatives in line with department outcomes and objectives.
  • Oversee site evaluations and construction feasibility analysis, securing consultants as needed and reviewing reports to make recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum three years' management experience, including technical leadership skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Five years' recent, related experience in a project management role, preferably in a capital project environment, with responsibility through the project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Excellent program and project management skills, including cost analysis and product design methods.
  • Proven experience leading and motivating a highly skilled team of professionals, with the ability to nurture a work environment that is proactive, flexible, and responsive to change.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $117,040 to $168,245 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour work week.
  • An annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
