Global Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at the Volunteer Centre of Calgary. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about building relationships within the community to support the growth and impact of our 1000 Seeds Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Community Engagement Strategies: Collaborate with our CEO and Program Director to create and execute strategies that build strong relationships with businesses, employers, and community organizations to support the goals of the 1000 Seeds Program.
- Build and Maintain Community Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with key community stakeholders, including businesses, employers, and local organizations, to secure their participation in the program.
- Promote the Program: Advocate for the 1000 Seeds Program within the community, raising awareness of its benefits and encouraging participation from businesses and employers.
- Collaborate with Leadership Team: Work closely with our CEO and Program Director to align community development efforts with the overall vision and mission of the Foundation.
- Support Program Operations: Assist with the planning and coordination of program activities, including events, workshops, and networking opportunities for newcomers and employers.
- Experience in Community Development: Proven experience in community development, outreach, or a related field, particularly in roles that involve building partnerships and engaging stakeholders.
- Strong Networking and Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to connect with a diverse range of community stakeholders, fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the Foundation effectively in the community.
