Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Grill Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure timely and cost-effective meal preparation.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform budgeting and cost control decisions.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- 2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
