Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Stony Plain Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Environment: Fast-paced environment
Personal Suitability: Team player
Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, supports social and labour market integration, and recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
Support for Indigenous People: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, provides cultural competency training, and facilitates access to Elders.
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 40 hours per week
