NBS STEEL FRAMING & DRYWALL LTD. is seeking a skilled Home Building Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and conformity of our home building projects. Your expertise in planning and managing budgets, as well as your ability to perform various trade work, will be essential in delivering high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with experience in inspecting subcontractors' work, recruiting and supervising staff, and developing business plans. You will work closely with our customers, architects, and engineers to ensure that our projects meet their specifications and expectations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting subcontractors' work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications
  • Planning and managing budgets for home construction and renovation projects
  • Performing various trade work during home construction or renovation activities
  • Recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers
  • Developing and implementing business plans and financial and operating plans
  • Preparing estimates and bids for home construction, renovation, and restoration projects
  • Working with customers, architects, and engineers regarding plans and specifications
  • Preparing and maintaining a directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Ensuring that construction permits are obtained
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
