About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade School General Manager to join our team at A1 Transportation Academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve academic excellence and operational efficiency.
    • Establish clear objectives and goals for the organization, and ensure that all departments and teams are aligned with these objectives.
  • Resource Allocation
    • Effectively allocate human, financial, and material resources to support the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Communication and Representation
    • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, and delegate representatives as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including staff, students, and external partners.
  • Supervision and Development
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
    • Identify and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to ensure the organization's continued success.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week.
