About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Trade School General Manager at A1 Transportation Academy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trade school, ensuring that we deliver high-quality education and training to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and facilities, to support the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to ensure effective implementation of organizational policies and programs.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations, official functions, and other external activities, ensuring that the organization's interests are represented effectively.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Work Setting: Head office.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
