Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Weather On Demand. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation of underground wiring and cables, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
  • Design and Construction: Collaborate with experienced electricians to design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations.
  • Troubleshooting and Fault Isolation: Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices in electrical systems and procedures.
  • Estimation and Planning: Assist in estimating costs and materials for electrical projects, and participate in planning and scheduling electrical work.
  • Communication and Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and maintain accurate records of electrical work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in electrical work.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
