About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team at K-Jay Electric Ltd. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist our experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Help with the replacement and repair of electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Assist in splicing, joining, and connecting wires
  • Conduct tests and measurements to ensure the integrity of circuits
  • Assist in renovating electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the electrical trade
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
