**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our team at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. in Sherwood Park.

This exciting opportunity involves working with diverse groups of privately held and not-for-profit organizations as a Business Advisor to clients.

The successful candidate will lead, execute, and review work for client engagements, take responsibility for managing engagements, and plan and lead teams to ensure client expectations are met.

A key aspect of this role is problem-solving proactively with the team or clients, reporting to Partners on engagement pricing and budgeting, and contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan.

As a leader in the organization, you will participate in the coaching and performance management process by conducting timely performance reviews, providing ongoing feedback, and training junior team members.

Key Qualifications

  • Completed a CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years post-designation experience preferred
  • Strong background in reviewing audit engagements and working with owner-managed clients and non-profits within a public practice scope
  • Desire to manage teams within the audit and small business group
  • Ability to build and deepen meaningful business relationships based on strong rapport, trust, and respect
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Canadian Audit Standards (CAS), and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE)
  • Proficient in Caseware and Profile, with strong business acumen and computer skills (especially in Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability in results management
