We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our team at Recruitment Room in Calgary.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you take charge of risk management and financial excellence across various projects, forging and nurturing client relationships at a senior level, and mentoring junior team members as they blossom in their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead engagements with precision and expertise.
  • Oversee a client list with greater independence, leveraging your exceptional leadership skills.
  • Mentor and train Junior Managers, helping them grow professionally.
  • Execute a client service plan on complex engagements, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks associated with projects, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Interact closely with Partners to exceed client expectations and drive success.
  • Multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines with ease.
  • Conduct supervisory reviews of files as needed, upholding the highest standards.
  • Provide internal support for Jazzit, QAM, training, assurance, and other matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal accounting director to achieve shared goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an accounting manager in public practice.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
  • In-depth understanding of Quickbooks, Caseware, Jazzit, and other accounting software.
  • Advanced communication and leadership skills, with a focus on mentorship.

Our estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
