Strategic Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Relationship Manager to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Advisors across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
Your primary focus will be on managing territories, assessing sales needs, and promoting programs, products, and tools to identified groups and networks. You will also serve as the main point of contact between Advisors and Head Office Staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and resolving grievances efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:- Proactively manage territories (AB, BC, SK) to build strong Advisor relationships, requiring frequent travel.
- Nurture the business relationship between Investia and the Branch Advisor network.
- Plan and conduct regular Branch visits to assess sales needs and satisfaction levels.
- Promote programs, products, and tools to identified groups/individual networks consistent with company goals and initiatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact between Advisors and Head Office Staff for grievance resolution and cooperation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by supporting the implementation of compliance policies, reviews, and training programs.
- Evaluate Advisors' knowledge and backgrounds to provide suitable recommendations to clients without risk or disrepute.
- Propose recommendations on how Investia can provide further support.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet requests from the Advisor network and propose innovative ideas.
- Attend quarterly Sales meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector.
- Strategic thinking and analytical experience highly advantageous.
- Experienced team leadership and people management/development skills.
- Availability to travel.
The expected salary range for this position starts at $120,000, commensurate with experience and skill set.
