Cultural Events Organizer

The Program Manager will be responsible for the project management of assigned programs related to Leighton Artist Studios. This role requires a strong understanding of artistic disciplines, operational expertise, and project management skills.
You will work closely with the Director, Leighton Studios and Program Partnerships, to ensure that all programs are delivered in line with Banff Centre's design signature-transformative learning experiences for every participant.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and manage project plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets for assigned programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align program goals with organizational objectives.
- Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of programs, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with artists, stakeholders, and partners to foster a collaborative environment.
- Analyze program outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- University degree in an arts discipline or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a creative environment.
- Strong understanding of artistic disciplines and their operational needs.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Ambassador for Banff Centre.
Working Conditions
- Flexible, irregular schedule, including weekends.
- Salaries range from $67,367 to $100,039 based on experience.
