About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to manage event logistics, develop sponsorship programs, and coordinate conference activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing events from start to finish, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and other logistical arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote conference and meeting services or special events to clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement effective sponsorship and partnership programs to secure revenue
  • Manage budgets, review bids, and negotiate costs with vendors
  • Coordinate event set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details
  • Implement registration systems, plan accommodation and transportation services, and arrange for documentation distribution
  • Plan social events and guest programs, develop policies and procedures, and manage event logistics
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in a similar role
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field such as hospitality, business, or communications
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines
