Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Indigenous Tax Specialist - Lead Tax Planner to join our team in Indigenous Client Services. This role will be responsible for providing expert tax planning advice to Indigenous organizations, communities, and businesses, leveraging their knowledge and experience to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting, specializing in public accounting. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. A professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or CMA) is required, as well as enrollment in or completion of the CPA In Depth Tax program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert tax planning advice to Indigenous organizations, communities, and businesses
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
