Key Responsibilities:As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR function for our transportation infrastructure business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing HR operational support to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Partnering with HR peers to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive business results.
- Collaborating with various levels of the business unit to resolve employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Supporting the hire and rehire process for hourly employees, including updating HR systems with employee data changes.
- Assisting with the preparation of announcements, job postings, and onboarding materials for new hires.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 5+ years of HR operational support experience.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
We're looking for candidates with:
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, with a focus on Excel.
- HR experience in manufacturing and/or construction.
- CHRP Designation.
