Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and solution-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Kitchener. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting talent management, advising stakeholders on compliance, administering and designing workplace programs, and maintaining employee information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support talent management by assisting in optimizing recruitment processes and employing strategies to ensure new staff integrate well into our workforce
  • Advise stakeholders on compliance by providing recommendations and information on lawful workplace standards
  • Administer and design workplace programs, including learning and development, talent acquisition, employee lifecycle development, employee rewards, and compliance
  • Maintain and follow up on employee information, preserving data electronically and physically and following up on filed employee files

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
  • Three years of progressive experience in HR, including a working understanding of WSIB standards and a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation
  • Working knowledge of standard HRIS software, MS Office, and LMS systems
  • Effective and flexible communication skills, with the ability to build working relationships with management, employees, and business stakeholders
