Job Title: HR Generalist

Voyago is currently seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team in the Kitchener-Waterloo region.

Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for coordinating and administering all Human Resources functions for assigned Business Units. This includes providing a partnership with operations to assist with all human resources responsibilities, including employee relations, leadership support, HR programs and procedures, and advisement to leadership on employee matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Support the HR Business Partner with investigations and working through to resolutions, provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees and leaders, maintain compliance records, and follow up on leave of absences.
  • Compliance: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current legislation relating to employment law, WSIB, Labour Relations Act, Employment Standards Act, and Human Rights Code to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Administration: Administer employee requests for verification letters, assist with internal employee changes, draft disciplinary letters, and create and deliver customized reports to support the HR Business Partner and Operational Leaders.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
  • CHRP certification is preferred.
  • Clean Criminal Record Search.
  • Strong professional presence, planning, and organization skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization with consultative, partnering, facilitating, and influencing/negotiating skills.
