As an Underwater Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as:
- Conducting underwater inspections, searches, salvages, repairs, and photography
- Training or assisting in the training of other workers
- Supervising staff
- Evaluating curriculum programs and recommending improvements
- Troubleshooting problems related to equipment
- Organizing and maintaining procedures for the keeping of records
- Evaluating user feedback
- Coordinating projects and programs
The ideal candidate will have a Commercial diver's license, First Aid Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. They should also have experience with underwater recording equipment and proficiency in hydraulic systems, underwater photography, and underwater surveying.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as health care plan and group insurance benefits. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
