About the Role

The Regional Vice-President, Corporate Quality Leader will play a key role in supporting Advisors in growing their practices, leading an expansive culture within their regions, attracting new talent, and representing IG Wealth Management within their communities.

This leadership position is responsible for long-term growth, productivity, and overall sales results of their region through the attraction, acquisition, and retention of both clients and top Advisor talent alike, while leading and providing strategic direction on all aspects related to the operations and management of their local IG Wealth Management regional office.

With the support of Head Office and Distribution (Sales) Leadership, the Regional Vice-President, Corporate Quality Leader assists their management team and Advisors to meet and exceed performance standards while abiding by industry and internal compliance regulations, acting both ethically and in the clients' best interests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent acquisition and onboarding support for new candidates
  2. New client acquisition - focused on mass-affluent and high net worth clients and business owners
  3. Technology and innovation adoption support and management
  4. Region leadership and mentoring
  5. Performance and personal development coaching
  6. Establishing a respectful workplace and promoting a diverse and expansive culture
  7. Region finance management
  8. Strategic teaming and advisor planning efforts related to succession planning, building teams, etc.
  9. Fostering and promoting a culture for advisor growth and development
  10. Increasing local brand awareness
  11. Community support and involvement
  12. Strong compliance culture and education practices
  13. Ensuring adherence to corporate policies

Requirements

  1. University degree in a relevant field
  2. Previous management experience (preferably in leading large teams)
  3. 10+ years' experience within the financial services or a related industry
  4. CFP, PFP, or RRC designation (or commitment to earn designation)
  5. Branch Manager Certification preferred (will be required upon hire)
  6. Financial Services Designations preferred (CLU, CFA, CA, CMA, etc.)
  7. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  8. Excellent interpersonal, listening, and support skills
  9. Proven strategic planning and business planning ability
