About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team at Comsense Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, using technical manuals, online resources, and collaboration with other teams as needed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of computer systems, software, and other technical tools.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve technical incidents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and best practices, to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Shell script, device drivers, networking security, servers, desktop applications, MS Active Directory.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, team player, ability to multitask, time management.
Work Environment
  • Workplace: Hybrid.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
