Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at TECHINI SYSTEMS INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our computer systems and networks. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new equipment, and ensuring the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees and customers
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and implement solutions
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure
  • Perform backup procedures to ensure data preservation
  • Manage incidents and provide timely resolution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in IT support and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Shell script experience
  • Networking software and hardware knowledge
  • Networking security expertise
  • Extranet, intranet, and internet experience
  • Desktop applications and spreadsheet skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The work setting is a startup company with a help desk environment.
