**Vendor Manager

Amazon Canada's Hardlines and Entertainment Media team is seeking a self-driven Vendor Manager candidate to join our Video Games team. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience for customers across their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead key categories and brand relationships in Video Games for Amazon.ca and drive growth of the business.
- Build strong vendor and brand relationships through contract negotiations, selection and catalog management, inventory optimization, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.
- Work cross-functionally with other product, marketing, and operations teams across Amazon to raise the bar on customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in the Video Games industry and customer.
