Role Overview:
This position plays a crucial role in the lifecycle of acquiring, managing, and servicing market data and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be tasked with the following duties:
  • Market Data Services Acquisition: Engage in sourcing, negotiating, and administering contracts for market data services.
  • Contract Oversight: Handle contract renewals, service modifications, and maintain accurate records.
  • Cost Oversight: Collaborate with the Invoice Payment Team to oversee vendor invoicing processes, ensuring cost validation and proper attribution.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure service entitlements align with contract specifications.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate data sourcing and licensing requests, ensuring compatibility with technological solutions.
  • Data Management: Uphold high-quality data standards within systems, including inventory database management and invoice review processes.

Candidate Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
  • 3-4 years of experience collaborating with investment professionals regarding their information needs.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or budgeting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word; familiarity with MS Access is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proven interpersonal abilities.

Desirable Soft Skills:
  • Client-centric approach, adept at prioritizing tasks, strong business insight, analytical mindset, and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative and proactive with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities with a sense of urgency.

Additional Preferred Skills:
  • 3 years of experience in vendor management and invoicing.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing TRG-Screen or MDSL software.
  • 5 years of experience in the investment market data or financial services sector.
  • Understanding of database systems.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required.
