About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team at Ecole Internationale Acadecap International School. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with assignments and reinforce learning concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
  • Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor students during recess and lunch hour, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Assist with integration into the classroom and school setting, fostering a sense of belonging among students.
  • Monitor and report student progress to the classroom teacher, providing valuable insights into their learning journey.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, interpersonal awareness, organized, reliability, and team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of accessible and inclusive recruitment policies.
  • Participation in government or community programs supporting persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
