About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at TINY HEARTS DAYCARE CENTER as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Early Childhood Educators: Assist in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.
  • Encourage Creativity: Engage children in activities that promote creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Storytelling and Snacks: Tell stories, teach songs, and prepare snacks to promote socialization and healthy eating habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a Child Abuse Registry check and a Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
