Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations General Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in providing expert support and oversight to complex case files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage a portfolio of case files or matters related to attendance or performance, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into attendance and performance-related issues, gathering and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
  • Employee Support: Provide expert support to employees, including attending investigative meetings and taking appropriate steps to improve attendance and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Employee Relations team, Labor Relations team, and other departments to ensure effective communication and maximize productivity.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports on workforce absenteeism, performance-related matters, and other key metrics, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Operational Performance: Measure and analyze data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure targets are being met, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Special Projects: Plan and execute assigned special projects, working with departmental teams to review programs and processes to solve operational performance issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience, with a degree in Human Resource Management or a related field being an asset.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of Human Resources experience, with proficiency in Microsoft applications and demonstrated ability with training and development programs.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret and advise on company procedures, knowledge of employment and Human Rights legislations, and soft skills to assist in communicating with employees from all levels.
  • Competencies: Time Management, Planning Accurately, Communication, and Organizing.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods, and extensive use of a computer/electronic device.
  • Mental Focus: Ability to mentally focus and concentrate for prolonged periods, analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Collaboration: Work with and near others, sharing the same workspace and working with people from varying organizational levels, divisions, departments, and geographical locations.
