About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development Executive to join our team at 5036744 Ontario Limited. As a Senior Vice-President of Human Resources and Organizational Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's human resources and organizational development strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate financial, human, and material resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring effective leadership and management.
  • Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and driving business results.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting the company's interests.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, fostering a culture of excellence.
Supervision and Team Management
  • Supervise a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload.
Personal Suitability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal awareness and ability to work effectively in a team.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
