We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Northern Health in Fort St. John, BC.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.

You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage critically ill patients requiring intensive care services
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • One (1) year full-time recent experience in intensive care
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
  • Recent Cardiac Monitor and Ventilator Certificates mandatory
