Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Michael Garron Hospital, North York General Hospital and Scarborough Health Network are partnering to improve critical care nursing capacity within our region, by creating a pool of Intensive Care/Critical Care Nurses called the Multi-hospital Critical Care Resource Team (MCCRT).
These unique positions are for Registered Nurses looking to grow in their career and expand their knowledge in a highly supportive environment.
As a member of this partnership, each successful candidate will be hired into a hospital site, and have the ability to work at all four hospitals based on business needs and patient volumes.
Sunnybrook is home to the first and largest trauma centre in Canada, and the country’s largest adult burn Centre. Ontario’s most seriously injured patients are rushed to Sunnybrook by air and land ambulance from across the province. We provide highly specialized care to one in three trauma patients in Ontario, totaling about 2,000 critically injured patients each year — the highest number in Canada.
What makes MCCRT unique?
Flexible Employment: Enhance your skills by working across multiple leading GTA hospitals. Benefit from flexible scheduling.
Professional Development: Access learning opportunities and advanced training to support your professional growth.
